My family moved from the Philippines to San Francisco when I was 5, so technically I’m not a native… but I’m close! Sure, I’ve tried to move away a few times, but this place keeps pulling me back. I think the Bay Area is special. And I want to do what I can to keep it that way.

I care deeply about community. I love distinct and diverse neighborhoods. Where we live and shop is an extension of who we are. And I feel that local businesses are key to celebrating this diversity, to living a life full of individual identities, quirks, and delightfulness.

My goal in creating Inkwell Merchants is to do what I can to support community businesses while supporting myself in continuing to create art and do good work in the world.
